Ur thumbnails need photoshop ? Its like PNG photo of urs put over dark background with text above that.. all u need is layers and maybe some basic color correction. Krita is and was free and have these features.

The GIMP was originally an open source "adobe clone" by having essentially the same features and initial layout of an early version of PS.

While I see what you doing there, it's not that simple as you make it look to be. On the surface you can see that "they imeditalely jumped in it", but I assure you that there are a lot of things in the background that led to this speedy acquiring. Most of the times it's because financial reasons, other times it's because of the business model and market share. But rest assured it's not as you presented this and make it look like they are the good side and they hold hands and sing Kumbaya while saving the world from the evil companies. Time will show I am right. I am one of those bystanders, waiting to see where this will lead before making a decision. But thanks for the video anyway.

@4:30 with the making an account before 18 then having the money locked is an issue I faced and after 4/5 calls with them that were all over 2 hours each I gave up and avoid the SHIT company like the plague they are man. Useless.

I’m pre-emptively boycotting Affinity in anticipation of them becoming evil in 20 years after the original founders sell it to disinterested corporate types who screw over legacy users. No but seriously I did replace Audition with Izotope. Good shit. Alogging Adobe is fun, but when the rubber hits the road Affinity would have to really be a true Photoshop replacement, I could see it easily be full of showstopping features or lack of shortcuts that would annoy me. Will have to try it.

I never paid a penny for Adobe, but now I'm ditching them and just bought affinity licence.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Luminar is also good if you want a Lightroom alternative. I bought it outright a few years ago. Not sure if that's still an option.

what is truly evil is that Adobe is not the only company that use our data to train their AI. Facebook, Google, Open Ai . etc. does that too. The diference is that Their Products are FREE! But not Adobe. Furthermore Adobe even fine u for leaving them. And make it near insane to acomplish that.

Yes. Lightroom Classic is why I really stick with Adobe. And Acrobat is pretty helpful too. But for video work I use other apps. Mostly I have Adobe CC in case someone sends me a file I absolutely can't open any other way. It happens. Less frequently but happens. Great video Theo.
